After the Noir event on Saturday night, attendees of the Austin Fashion Week Kickoff headed upstairs to the rooftop of Brazos Hall for more boozin, more shmoozin, and of course more fashion. Except this time, the focus was on the hair and makeup. Some of Austin’s best hair stylists and makeup artists teamed up to compete for the best “beauty look” of the night. Some teams definitely went more over the top than others, but who knows when you might want to look like a garden is growing out of your head?…
Attendees were encouraged to text to vote for their favorite look of the night and the winner will be announced at the Austin Fashion Week Awards next Saturday. Who would you have voted for? I didn’t even get a chance to vote because by that point in the night I had stashed away all my belongings besides my camera so that I could have more hands free for photo taking (and drinking.)
