My Recommendations:

These are the local boutiques unique to Austin that I love the most and think visitors to Austin would enjoy checking out…

  • Feathers Boutique (website / map) – one of the best and most unique curations of vintage in town
  • Charm School Vintage (website / map) – reasonably priced cute vintage on the East side of town
  • Room Service (website / map) – awesomely priced vintage jewelry and unique vintage home decor
  • Blue Velvet Vintage (website / map) – the most extensive and most inexpensive collection of vintage clothing in town, for both men and women
  • Amelia’s Retro Vogue (website / map) – antique clothing, some dating back to the mid 1800’s – Amelia knows her stuff (especially hats)!
  • Once Bitten (website / map) – my personal boutique so I’m obviously partial to it.  Here you’ll find a chic mix of classic and modern pieces at an affordable price point, located in the heart of downtown Austin. Come say hi to me and shop my curation. Get 10% off if you mention Keep Austin Stylish brought you 🙂
  • Moss Designer Consignment (website / map) – a great curation of high end designer brand consignment, and their new sister store Garment Modern (website/ map) is a few stores down carrying awesome high end vintage as well as modern indie clothing brands
  • Kick Pleat (website/ map) – a sophisticated aesthetic with unique and high end designer brands such as Rachel Comey and Robert Clergerie
  • Sunroom (website/ map) – high end beachwear and breezy looks located in the beautifully designed South Congress Hotel
  • Parts and Labour (website / map) – local designed clothing & accessories & great Austin themed gifts, perfect for an Austin visitor
  • Spartan and JM Dry Goods  (website / map) special unique gifts and accessories for both men and women- think rustic chic, JM carries fabulous caftans and other cool stuff that’s handmade in Mexico (pretty pricey, but very neat)
  • Stag (website / map) – one of the few stores in Austin completely dedicated to men, carrying modern clothing with a classic and sometimes vintage inspired aesthetic
  • Dandy’s Gentleman Store (website / map) – another one of the few stores in Austin completely dedicated to men, although a lady could possibly find a vintage style hat here as well.  This is vintage style clothing for the modern dapper gentleman- bowties, hats, suspenders, and you can even get a custom suit made. Located only a couple doors down from my boutique Once Bitten 🙂
  • Lucy in Disguise (website / map) – a huge extensive collection of costumes to rent or buy – worth a trip just for fun if you’ve never been

And if you’re not in Austin and don’t plan on visiting anytime soon, you can still shop my online boutique, Once Bitten anytime. (website)
