If celebrating “leave your family on Thanksgiving night to go stand in line at Old Navy” a.k.a. “Black Friday” (which actually starts on Thursday) is not your thing, and you just weren’t able to do any shopping on “Small Business Saturday,” luckily for you we live in a society that now celebrates multiple shopping holidays! Truthfully “Cyber Monday” is my preferred shopping holiday because you can get the best deals all without ever leaving your bed (or sneakily at the office, which is really the best place to get all your shopping done.)
Here are links to some of my favorite online stores, along with a couple of my picks for holiday party dresses, AND some Cyber Monday sale info:
1) The Reformation
The Reformation has easily and quickly become my new favorite online store. It’s unusual for me to find a boutique, either online or not, where I could literally see myself wearing every piece they carry, but this store is it.
This little red velvet dress is classy but flirty, and you could easily dress it up or down. For a holiday party I would maybe add some patterned tights and a chunky jeweled necklace, but you could also keep it super simple and still look like a total babe (make sure your open back is turned to someone whose eye you want to catch, and then just at the right moment you can turn and do the sexy “lookback” that this model has perfected.)harvest dress, $218

2) Bona Drag
I felt many different emotions when my friend introduced me to Bona Drag. On one hand I was excited to be introduced to such an awesome unique selection of clothing and accessories, but on the other I was terrified that I might accidentally spend my entire life savings on clothes.
This dress is probably one of the more conservative pieces you will find on the site, but it’s definitely got the sparkle factor, and the patterned skirt bottom is pretty breathtaking.
Ok, they unfortunately don’t actually have a Cyber Monday deal going on, but this Wren mixed brocade party dress is on sale for $296
3) Nasty Gal
Nasty Gal has really become a major “go-to” for girls shopping online, and there’s reason for this. They are always getting in new stuff, they carry a lot of great brands, they are sexy and fun, and they even have their own Nasty Gal line.
I like this sequined dress because it looks like something a mermaid would wear to a holiday party, no?

4) Pixie Market
Pixie Market is a great site for finding inexpensive fashion that is still fashion forward. The site is similar to Nasty Gal in its price points and its level of quality, but their selection is smaller and I would argue fits a slightly different aesthetic that is less “nasty gal” and more “man repeller.”
