The last big Austin fashion event of 2012 involved one of Austin’s favorite local designers, Dawn Younger-Smith of Boudoir Queen teamed up with one of Austin’s favorite new boutiques, Wanderlust Boutique (possibly to soon be renamed Golden Bones?).  Dawn’s line, Boudoir Queen, is now being sold exclusively at the boutique, giving Austinites even more reason to shop at this unique store on West Koenig.

Stylish lovers of Boudoir Queen came out on Friday night to celebrate the collaboration and everyone added their own unique look to the fashionable crowd.  One of my favorites was the always stylish Jenny Woys who looked like a cross between a My Little Pony and and a baby doll wearing one of Dawn’s unique designs.  The little girl in me wanted to put her in my pocket and take her home with me, but I resisted. I also had to resist walking off with one of Boudoir Queen’s magical headpieces. My wardrobe is seriously lacking some good plumage right now.
