If the book “50 Shades of Grey” had been titled “50 Shades of Neon” instead, I might have been more inclined to read it. Actually, let’s be honest, I still probably wouldn’t have read it. However, I do tend to perk up at more colorful titles (proven by the fact that the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test is on my book shelf.) So I definitely perked up upon seeing the flyer for this upcoming event… 50 Shades of Neon is a brightly colored Art & Fashion exhibition happening this Friday. Every month, Beauty Ballroom will be hosting an art gallery featuring different local artists. This month’s exhibition is featuring the wig designs of Coco Coquette, the neon fashions by Eatyour Heartout, and the funky art by Hope Perkins – a group of artists who all have an affinity for bright colors.
